mmm that headline could attract some unwelcome visitors.
Tired today and doing my hilly route in (this is Northants remember only 237 Meters upitty) wore me down, and I spent most of the ride wishing my tyres would shut up. Out with the guys on Tuesday they all commented on the traction roar, much louder than similar 26 tyres, guess that could be a sign of just how bigger the contact patch is?
Great to be sticking it into corners confidently though, despite the amount of ice about, so the next step is to dust off my old formula hubbed cross wheels and stick some 35mm Fast Freds or Hutchinson Pirahnas on. Flukily they have 160mm discs on already, result.
